The library of Oiartzun was inaugurated in september 1992 and it´s placed in the center of Oiartzun, in an elegant building of XVIth Century. The mentioned building, San Juan Baptist Chapel, is beside the church of San Esteban and was built for a double purpose distributed in 2 parts; both as a Chapel and as a Pilgrim´s hospital. Nowadays, the Municipal library Manuel Lekuona is in the part of the building that has been the hospital.
